I'm getting shivers as I post this.

This picture has been in the works since the summer of 2007. Two-thousand-freaking-seven. Okay, maybe that's not so long ago, but really, I have never worked so hard on a picture as I have on this. It's been such a huge weight on my mind this whole time, since I had such absurd expectations for it that I couldn't live up to. Even so, I think it's probably the best picture I've ever done. As such, I think it's time to set it free. I hope you guys enjoy it.

Originally a commission from my good friend *Losmios, but it's a little late for that. ^^; As such, it is dedicated to her, one of my earliest inspirations. Thanks, Mia. :D

This is GORGEOUS. Amazing attention to detail. The softness but fierceness of the horse's expression is completely awesome. The power of the wings too just accents the horse's fierce face and determination of the flight. Your use of sepia tones is very soft. It creates a simple light but it's gorgeous. I love how he seems to go from dark to fliying into the light. Job extremely well done. :meow:

The wings are absolutely gorgeous! The perspective and detail are just wonderful. And the mountains in the background are perfect. Good Job! :heart:
