Drawing people is a lot of fun at a Folk Music Festival. I'm kind of sad I only brought out my sketchbook on that one day; there were so many interesting faces and shapes and styles, and this was the first time I really had the opportunity to try my hand at life drawing like this. First time I decided to use my brush pen also, which was a great idea; I love that thing.
I'm really fond of all of these sketches. This is comprised of about four sketchbook pages of sketches, mostly of strangers/spectators, but there are a couple musicians and friends in there too.
If you're into folk music my father does solo folk shows and used to have a folk rock band called Robbing Banks, if you want I can get you some of his stuff.
