I'm doing a couple pictures for a geography assignment, and this ocelot was one of them. I have to do an iguana next, and then I'm finished. I've already sketched one up, but man... iguanas are hard!!
Anyway, this is meant to look a lot like my old Fossa picture ([link]), and eventually I'll be adding a background to it that is similar. I said I'd like to do a series, this seems like a good time and subject.  Anyway...I used referances, but the pose is original. I just looked at photos to make sure I wasn't doing anything blatantly wrong! Cats aren't exactly my strong point, but I don't think this came out quite that bad. I think it's really cute, actually! Sorry about the huge watermarks. There will be fewer/smaller ones when it grabs itself a background. And you thought I was dead, didn't you...?  Ink outline scanned and coloured in Photoshop CS. |
