...to escape the rain.

----------

Gosh, I'm so happy this is finally finished. It started quite a long time ago... the original sketch of Creature swimming was done in August, 2004. I started colouring it because I wanted to make a "walkthrough" style tutorial, and I took the first screen shot (of the sketch open in photoshop) on Sept. 1, 2004. I worked on it all that day, taking screenshots and whatever until it got to basic colours and a few gradients for the bg, then I stopped for some reason. I only just picked it up again earlier this week.

I really like the idea of escaping the rain by plunging into the water itself... *shrug*

Media: Photoshop 7.0 and CS with a wacom intuos 2 tablet.
Dimensions: 2500 x 3700 pxs.

Nooo, I didn't forget.... x__x It's still sitting there, gathering dust... I think that's the one I'll have to tackle next. I might have to totally redo it, because I'm not really satisfied with the techniques I was using; they were slightly different then the techniques I used for this picture, and I really like this technique better.

*stops rambling* I'm sorry for making you wait, Mia! I'll try and do it asap! I have tomorrow off of school, so hopefully I can work on it then!

*hugs* And thank you very much, I'm so glad you like it!

Hello!

Oh, wow! That's fantastic, and I love the idea! If I was to do something similar but gave you full credit, would you mind?

And how did you create the rain and water texture? ^^

And no one sings me lullabyes
And no one makes me close my eyes
So I throw the windows wide
And call to you across the sky....

Ohmigosh, man. That is absolutely amazing! I love the rain on the surface. It's so realistic. And underwater, it seems so peaceful with that creature swimming beneath.

Great job! :D
